Snowberry Heights
The renovation of this 11 story senior apartment building in Marquette, MI presented several unique challenges. One of the most significant items included in the renovation was replacement of all 400 windows in the building. The window system had to be engineered to allow installation to occur from the inside of the unit due to the height of the building. Air conditioner sleeves also had to be built into the window frames, providing air conditioning for a building that previously had none. Other major upgrades included a complete overhaul of the two elevators and all new common area finishes. New rooftop air handling units were hoisted to the roof and the main lobby was redesigned to provide larger offices and larger, barrier-free common bathrooms.
